Hon. O. K. Chinda, the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, has introduced the “Back 2 School” program, a commendable effort aimed at supporting primary six pupils in public schools within Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.

This initiative seeks to provide essential educational materials such as books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, socks, and school bags to enhance the academic journey of these students. The primary goal is to ensure that regardless of their financial background, children have the tools necessary to thrive academically.

Hon. O. K. Chinda’s initiative reflects a sincere commitment to the educational advancement of children within his constituency. By addressing the resource gap, this program aims to uplift the standard of education and decrease dropout rates among pupils, thereby fostering a brighter future for the area.

This strategic move is not merely about distributing materials; it’s a concerted effort to encourage parents to enroll their children in school, knowing that educational resources will be provided, reducing the financial burden on families.

Moreover, this program aligns with Chinda’s broader educational agenda, which includes annual free JAMB forms, scholarships for primary, secondary, and tertiary education, free WAEC forms, and substantial support for Law School students.

Hon. O. K. Chinda emphasized the importance of education, stating, “This Back 2 School program is one of our several programs to assist and encourage our children to take education more seriously because education is the most secure future we can give to our children.”

The program underscores Chinda’s dedication to ensuring that education remains accessible and equitable for all, regardless of financial constraints. It highlights his genuine concern for the academic well-being of children, laying a foundation for a better future for the constituency and the nation at large.
